Carmel Mountain, North San Diego County, California and Sabre Springs, part of the Poway school district and the City of San Diego, are conveniently located in mid-county, just south of Rancho Bernardo and north of Poway, the highest ranking school district in the county. The area has easy access to, Highway 56 and Interstate 15 making an easy Downtown San Diego commute to metropolitan offices and other employment centers.

About 12,000 residents inhabit Carmel Mountain and another 7,500 make up Sabre Springs. Thirty percent of the population is under the age of 18, emphasizing family values and activities. Both Carmel Mountain schools and Sabre Springs schools are within the Poway school district, which ranks highest in San Diego County. A library and community center serve both communities.

Both Carmel Mountain real estate and Sabre Springs real estate have been master planned over the last twenty years, and populate a middle class society. A large regional park with trails lines the southern border. Two golf courses straddle Interstate 15, running through the area.
